Saving the Turtles One Cookie at a Time

Asher Garretson is a high school student who has been visiting and supporting the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center all his life. The sea turtle hospital is located in Surf City, North Carolina, where it has been rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing sea turtles since 1997.  Asher sells his homemade baked goods to earn money to help fund the hospital; 100% of the profits go towards supporting the sea turtles.
